Event Manager responsible for managing events and conferences in Berlin. Collaborating with teams for successful digital and live formats while ensuring quality and structure.
Responsibilities
Together with colleagues from the respective consulting and conception teams, you are responsible for the success of the event, in particular for:
Organizing and executing various event formats in a mix of digital, in-person and live elements
Preparing, implementing, controlling and following up on event and conference formats, including larger projects where applicable
Researching, contracting and managing venues, vendors and service providers
Assisting with the planning, management, execution and follow-up of invitation mailings and marketing/advertising campaigns (print and online)
Managing and maintaining event websites and digital tools
Requirements
Successfully completed degree focusing on event or project management, cultural or art studies, tourism or a related field, or a relevant vocational qualification is an advantage
Initial experience in the events sector (at least 2 years, more is a plus)
Knowledge of directing, managing and executing events, as well as organizational and project management skills
Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings
Experience in guest/invitation management and with CMS platforms is advantageous
Structured, reliable and team-oriented working style
Strong communication skills, resilience under pressure and customer-focused thinking
Solution- and customer-oriented approach and reliability
Interest in economic and societal topics that are on the political agenda
