About the role

Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling narratives that translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences
  • Split time between overarching divisional communications and supporting a significant transformation project
  • Develop and implement an integrated internal communications strategy aligned with GFO&T and Group Finance transformation priorities
  • Prepare engaging content including announcements, presentations, newsletters, intranet content, and leadership messages
  • Partner with stakeholders across Business and IT teams, transformation groups, and subject-matter experts
  • Establish communication plans and channels that enhance transparency and keep employees informed
  • Analyze audience needs and tailor messaging to different units, functions, and stakeholder groups
  • Measure effectiveness through feedback loops to continuously improve communication impact
  • Support change initiatives by translating complex or technical topics into accessible messages
  • Foster collaboration across teams through proactive, clear communication

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, change communications, or a related field—ideally within Finance, Insurance, or other complex global organisations
  • Proven ability to design and deliver communication strategies and materials for broad and diverse internal audiences
  • Strong storytelling, creativity, writing, editing, and messaging skills, with an ability to tailor communication to different stakeholder groups
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working on evolving and fast-changing topics
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Experience with communication tools and platforms (e.g., intranet CMS, newsletters, digital workplaces, collaboration tools) (nice to have)
  • Understanding of Finance processes and/or (Re)insurance (nice to have)
  • Fluent English and German, preferably native English writing and oral skills; additional languages are a plus (nice to have)
