About the role

  • Managing account executive at Sun Life, responsible for business development and client retention for group benefits. Requires extensive experience in group insurance and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Main contact for clients, responsible for the overall client relationship with Sun Life
  • Responsible for the growth and profitability of an assigned block of business
  • Manage the Client relationship with associated advisors and consultants
  • Ensure client/advisor needs are met through the delivery of value-added products and services

Requirements

  • Extensive experience (5 or more years) in group insurance (sales, underwriting or consulting)
  • Minimum of 3 years proven client relationship success in the group market
  • University degree is an asset
  • Professional designation such as CEBS is an asset
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Small amount of travel may be required with occasional overnight travel.
