- Recommend and establish Target Loss Ratios
- Provide financial risk analysis and underwriting services

- Document and develop training materials for staff
- Coach, mentor, and direct the underwriting team
- Fulfill departmental projects and coordinate communication
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- 10 years industry experience
- Minimum of 5 years large group underwriting experience
- PC skills required, MS Windows environment
- MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, other database tools
- Comprehensive knowledge of the health insurance business
- 5 years’ management experience
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, planning and organizing skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
