Responsibilities
Provide operational and strategic leadership for analytics initiatives
Oversee the Health Analytics research team and additional supporting teams
Collaborate closely with peers in Data Engineering, Product Development, Strategy, Policy, and Operations on cross-departmental initiatives
Review and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, risks, disparities, and opportunities for intervention
Deliver financial and trend analysis of both benefit invoices and claims
Support the Health Fund leadership in the development and advancement of analytics strategies
Support the communication of updates on strategic goals and objectives to cross-functional teams
Requirements
5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in data strategy, health analytics and health research
Extensive experience with invoice and claims trends analytics, predictive modeling a plus
Must have significant industry-related data strategy experience to support a team working in the complex landscape of healthcare reimbursement and pricing trends
People management experience to directly manage staff members, both direct and indirect reports, through effective planning, organization, and supervision
Strong experience in analysis of health care claims data, value-based care, and population health
Must have hands-on experience in application of a coding/statistical language to data analysis or development of data structures (SQL, SAS, Python, R)
Experience with Databricks preferred or similar cloud-based data engineering/analytics platforms
