About the role
- Center Director managing Older Adult Centers at Greenwich House. Overseeing daily operations, developing programs, and ensuring compliance with regulations while building community relationships.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of daily center operations
- Ensure the accuracy and timely submission of monthly reports to NYC Aging
- Monitor and ensure compliance with NYC Aging regulatory standards and NYC Department of Health regulations
- Maintain and manage a pre-allotted annual budget
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director to recruit volunteers and consultants
- Engage and support the Center Member Advisory Council
- Provide weekly supervision and support to staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in recreation, geriatrics, social work, or a related field
- at least four years of experience in social services, senior services, or a closely related area
- demonstrated ability to develop and organize comprehensive programming for older adults
- proven ability to plan, coordinate, and direct a variety of center activities
- proficient in using and training staff on new administrative systems, software, and digital platforms
- strong organizational and supervisory skills
