About the role

  • Social Media Intern supporting content creation and execution at Sundae Creative. Engaging with social platforms and assisting in marketing strategies across various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution and updates of social editorial calendars to ensure content is published at the right time, on-brand, and optimized for each platform.
  • Assist in creating and editing native content for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, including short-form videos, UGC-style content, and trend-inspired posts.
  • Participate in brand events, shoots, and activations with the team to capture behind-the-scenes, real-time, and campaign-related content.
  • Be hands-on during on-site shoots and activations by helping capture content, organizing logistics, and providing creative support.
  • Support community management by monitoring comments and messages, engaging with audiences, and flagging key moments or feedback to the team.
  • Research social trends, sounds, formats, and creators, and propose ideas during brainstorms and content planning.
  • Collaborate with social, influencer, PR and events teams to support integrated, culturally-relevant campaigns.
  • Stay organized by helping update trackers, calendars and content libraries to keep workflows running smoothly.

Requirements

  • You are completing or have recently completed a diploma or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media, or a related field, or you have equivalent experience through content creation or internships.
  • You have a strong interest in social media, digital culture and content creation, with personal or academic experience on social platforms.
  • Comfortable filming and editing short-form content on your phone, and eager to learn more advanced tools and techniques.
  • Constantly online in the best possible way, with an excellent instinct for trends, aesthetics and internet culture.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a desire to learn to adapt tone and voice for different brands.
  • Organized, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Curious, proactive and enthusiastic about learning how social media works in an agency.
