Responsibilities
Support the planning and execution of events while assisting with press initiatives and influencer activations to keep timelines organized and deliverables on track
Support the team in executing PR and integrated communications strategies aligned with client objectives and brand positioning
Assist in drafting media pitches, press releases, briefing documents and internal communications, under the guidance of senior team members
Conduct media research and contribute to building, updating and maintaining targeted media and influencer lists
Monitor media coverage and social channels, track mentions and report relevant items to the team
Stay on top of cultural trends, media movements and industry news, bringing fresh ideas to brainstorming sessions
Support reporting efforts by helping gather data, compiling coverage and contributing to monthly or end-of-campaign reports
Maintain organized trackers, calendars and PR tools to ensure accurate and timely updates
Collaborate closely with PR, social and influencer teams to gain exposure to fully integrated campaigns
Requirements
You are completing or have recently completed a diploma or bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism or a related field, or have equivalent experience through internships or school projects
Previous experience through internships, academic work or volunteer roles in PR, communications, marketing or media is an asset but not required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong interest in learning how to craft effective media pitches and PR materials
Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken
Team player who is reliable, proactive and ready to help where needed
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and motivated to learn how an agency operates day-to-day
Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
Passionate about pop culture, media and storytelling, with a strong interest in beauty, fashion and lifestyle brands
