About the role

  • Sales Representative for Stryker’s Sage portfolio responsible for selling to hospitals and clinicians. Planning and directing strategy to support Stryker’s Mission and Values in the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the selling of products to hospitals and clinicians
  • Set strategy and tactical plans for the territory
  • Serve as a trusted partner to doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff
  • Educates and informs nurses, nursing leadership, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Sage products
  • Directs product evaluations
  • Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion
  • Managing and maintaining a sample of inventory of products
  • Maintain and protect the current base of business ensuring the current business is intact
  • Guarding major accounts and building and maintaining a strong working relationship in the territory
  • Grow sales to surpass the previous year’s growth
  • Develop Corporate Account and GPO sales activity
  • Weekly sales calls and feedback reports to the Regional Manager; provide various monthly, quarterly and annual reports as requested
  • Organize and plan utilizing Salesforce
  • Develop extensive product, competitor and market knowledge

Requirements

  • University Degree
  • 3 + years outside sales experience
  • Degree in business with an emphasis in marketing OR a degree in a health-related discipline, science, or kinesiology
  • 3+ years of experience in Medical Device Sales
  • Must be able to travel (ground and air) to support territory responsibilities as well as company-related duties and obligations
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
