Responsibilities
Lead upstream product strategy from concept development through handoff, ensuring alignment with growth objectives and portfolio priorities.
Identify unmet clinical needs through structured voice-of-customer activities, including interviews, field observations, and advisory engagements.
Conduct market, customer, and competitive assessments to inform product positioning, differentiation, and long-term roadmap decisions.
Develop product requirements by defining user needs, value propositions, and target product profiles that guide design and development.
Build business cases, including market sizing, pricing strategy, revenue forecasts, and investment justification to support pipeline decisions.
Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, and Operations to translate customer insights into feasible product concepts.
Support clinical strategy by defining claims, endpoints, and evidence requirements in collaboration with Clinical Affairs and Regulatory.
Define launch readiness inputs for downstream marketing, including segmentation, targeting, positioning, and value messaging.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 4 years of work experience
Experience in product marketing
Demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple cross-functional stakeholders to deliver projects or business outcomes
Master’s Degree (MBA) preferred
Experience in upstream product marketing
Experience managing product roadmaps for capital (hardware-enabled) and/or software-driven solutions in an enterprise or regulated environment
Experience supporting or participating in new product development processes
Experience working within complex, multistep business processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
