About the role
- Global Trade Operations Manager responsible for trade compliance and operational execution across EEMEA region. Liaison between stakeholders and authorities, optimizing import/export processes.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing and ensuring compliance with global trade regulations
- Optimizing import/export processes and managing operational execution across multiple countries
- Acting as a key liaison with internal stakeholders, external partners, and government authorities
- Managing various aspects of import/export and trade compliance processes throughout the EEMEA region
- Developing and implementing regional and local SOPs, WIs, and KPIs
- Mapping regional trade lanes and reviewing activities for continuous improvement
- Supporting legal and regulatory compliance for import/export administration
- Ensuring adherence to global trade regulations including customs laws and sanctions
- Monitoring changes in regional trade regulations and implementing updates
- Managing relationships with customs brokers
Requirements
- Academic degree in international trade, customs affairs or equivalent experience
- Minimum of +8 years trade compliance or international logistics experience preferred
- Excellent knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking), other EEMEA languages are an asset (Turkish, Arabic, Russian)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience in Project Management
