About the role

  • Talent Acquisition Adviser for managing recruitment processes within a collaborative national firm. Supporting hiring managers and enhancing employer branding in Bath, England.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting and posting of job advertisements and other relevant media and monitoring their performance.
  • Conducting initial searches and market mapping exercises for roles.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data in the ATS.
  • Assist with the production of recruitment reports.
  • Use data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Act as a point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Conducting interviews and screening calls to assess candidates’ suitability, experience, motivations, and appropriateness.
  • Facilitating candidate assessments and invigilating where required.
  • Actively supporting Hiring Managers with the full 360 recruitment process, from business cases to interviewing and onboarding.
  • Ensure the recruitment process is consistent, and all appropriate interview documentation is completed, such as interview notes and candidate assessments.
  • Providing constructive feedback to candidates where appropriate.
  • Ensuring candidates’ experience is of a consistently high standard.
  • Contribute to the development of employer brand content and campaigns.
  • Support early careers initiatives, careers fairs, outreach events, or assessment centres.
  • Actively promoting SK as an Employer of Choice.
  • Providing guidance and advice on all recruitment related policies and procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance talent attraction, DEI, and recruitment processes.
  • Assist with the recruitment process for our Early Careers programmes, including the Trainee Solicitor Programme.
  • Additional ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements

  • Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes, either in‑house or agency-side in professional services.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practice and UK employment considerations.
  • Confident using ATS platforms and recruitment tools.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Previous customer-facing or experience in recruitment is desirable.
  • Experience supporting early careers or volume recruitment.
  • Knowledge of employer branding or recruitment marketing.
  • Experience working in legal sector.
  • CIPD or equivalent HR qualification.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and highly organised.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Committed to delivering an equitable and inclusive recruitment experience.
  • Curious mindset with a desire to continuously improve processes.
