About the role

  • Contract Recruiting Coordinator focusing on the logistics and coordination of recruiting efforts for OpenAI. Collaborating with various teams to ensure a seamless candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • take ownership of the scheduling process, end to end, for evergreen and opportunistic hiring needs
  • act as a partner for recruiting ops problems and help find solutions through a mix of data, tools, and collaboration
  • greet candidates onsite in the office to provide a welcoming interview experience
  • be primary scheduling and interview planner for various Recruiters and Hiring Managers across the teams
  • use tools like Ashby, ChatGPT, G-Suite to uphold a timely and positive hiring experience
  • problem solve and adapt to an ever-changing environment while maintaining confidentiality and discretion
  • manage clear, concise, timely, and professional communication with candidates and hiring partners in written and verbal form
  • handle candidate reimbursement & travel (domestic and international)

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in calendaring, administrative, customer service, or recruiting roles
  • strong professional written and verbal communication skills
  • highly organized and able to prioritize tasks while adapting to changing demands
  • experience with scheduling tools such as Ashby, ChatGPT, Navan, Envoy, and Ironclad
  • detail-oriented and proactive in addressing challenges
  • collaborative mindset and a willingness to enhance coordination processes
  • discretion when working with senior and executive level candidates
