- Backend Developer creating modern features and robust backend services for STIHL's E-Commerce platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a stable and high-performing platform.
Responsibilities
- Developing modern features for our STIHL e‑commerce web platform
- Developing high-performance backend services, integrations and microservice solutions for the STIHL website based on SAP Commerce Cloud (Java with the Spring MVC framework)
- Ensuring stable and high-performing backend integration for our STIHL e‑commerce website
- Close collaboration with product owners, frontend developers, DevOps and UX to develop holistic end-to-end solutions
- Shared responsibility for DevOps tasks such as test automation, performance monitoring, highly available backend architectures, cloud stability and scaling, and the development and maintenance of automated CI/CD and deployment processes
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in backend development (Java, Spring MVC/Spring Boot, REST APIs)
- Experience in developing and integrating SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS or Azure and experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong communication skills, a team-oriented approach, and a self-organized, analytical working style.
