About the role
- Head of E-Commerce & IT managing B2B e-commerce systems with Magento2. Leading a team and ensuring efficient, sustainable system development.
Responsibilities
- You take overall responsibility for our e-commerce and IT systems, ensuring stable operations, efficiency, and future-proof development.
- Technical and strategic development of our Magento 2 shops
- Conversion optimization and performance improvement
- Release and quality management
- Management of external development agencies
- Testing of new features and functions
- Administration and further development of our ERP system (on-premise)
- Optimization of internal business processes
- Interface management between shop, ERP and other systems
- Collection, structuring and implementation of projects
- Quality assurance and testing before go-live
- Leadership of 2–3 employees in the e-commerce/IT area
- Prioritization of all projects and resources
- Budget responsibility
- Regular reporting to executive management
- Development of a clear digital and systems roadmap
Requirements
- Several years of experience in e-commerce, ideally in a B2B environment
- Very good knowledge of Magento 2
- Experience with ERP systems and system architectures
- Practical experience in managing external agencies
- Leadership experience and decisive decision-making ability
