About the role
- Key member of an interprofessional surgical team assisting in various surgeries and preparing the operating unit. Responsible for patient care, instrument preparation, and training OTA students.
Responsibilities
- As part of an interdisciplinary OR team, you assist in surgeries across various specialties
- You are responsible for the meticulous pre- and post-operative preparation of the operating unit, including the required instruments
- With empathy and strong communication skills, you care for patients and ensure the smooth workflow in the operating theatre
- In addition, you will be entrusted with supervising and instructing OTA students
- Participation in on-call duties
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialized nurse, Surgical Technologist (Operationstechnische:r Assistent:in/OTA), or registered nurse—ideally with additional qualification in perioperative/operating room services
- Willingness to pursue continuous professional development
- High professional and personal competence
