- Alpha Operations Officer managing operational tasks across teams to support investment operations in a global financial environment at State Street. Analyze and report on portfolio health to ensure effective operations.
Responsibilities
- Support the day to day operational tasks of the Investment Operations Team
- Collaborate with multiple sub teams within Alpha Operations
- Monitor assigned accounts for issues associated with cash, settlements, ad-hoc processing, and client reporting
- Perform pre/post cycle reviews to support client queries
- Handle and resolve issues involving all operational and various IT areas
- Manage and train junior staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, technology or equivalent or relevant industry experience
- 6-10 years of Middle Office and/or equivalent work
- Broad and in-depth understanding of the asset management industry, gained through working in a variety of asset management disciplines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
