About the role

  • Account Manager driving sales of STANLEY Engineered Fastening products across multiple U.S. regions. Building customer relationships and implementing sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of STANLEY Engineered Fastening products within a specific geographic area
  • Build strong relationships, understand customer needs, and offer tailored Stanley solutions
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for sales growth
  • Prepare sales forecasts and reports to track progress against targets
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products to effectively communicate features & benefits
  • Work closely with marketing, product management, and customer service

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or application engineering within the Fastener, Tool or Industrial Supply industry
  • Proven background in B2B sales, distribution, and working with OEMs
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles
  • Affinity with technical products
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, preferably Salesforce.com, and other sales tools
  • Must be willing to travel 50-75% of the week to visit customers and prospects
