About the role

  • Key Account Manager driving new business growth in Taiwan for marine customers. Managing key accounts and ensuring a seamless customer experience with Hempel's leading coating solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
  • Identify and pursue new customers through networking, cold calling, and lead generation
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to close deals
  • Manage sales pipeline and CRM systems (e.g., Power BI)
  • Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Technical, Customer Support, Supply Chain, Finance)
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (Chemical Engineering background preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B or marine industry
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets (€4M+ independent sales experience)
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and adaptability skills
