About the role

  • Manager overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Radiation Therapy department at Stanford Health Care. Responsible for patient flow, policy development, and financial monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the day-to-day technical operations of the Radiation Therapy department
  • Anticipates and facilitates patient flow within the department
  • Develops and maintains policies and procedures for area(s) of responsibility
  • Ensures correct charge capture and appropriate documentation
  • Monitors expenses for cost centers and financial performance of department
  • Establish performance standards for technical operations that meet regulatory requirements
  • Exercises control over supply inventory, storage, and usage
  • Participates in capital budget planning and preparation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
  • ARRT-RTT - Reg Tech-Rad Therapy
  • ARRT . CRT-T - CA Rad Tech-Therapeutic
  • Ability to budget, make financial projections and write reports
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships and build consensus
  • Ability to mediate and resolve complex problems and issues
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal regulatory requirements related to areas of functional responsibility
