About the role

  • Accounts Payable Administrator supporting finance and administrative operations within a dynamic civil construction environment. Ensuring accurate management of accounts payable, payroll assistance, and general administrative duties.

Responsibilities

  • Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assisting with Payroll and Timesheet entry in Xero
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery dockets
  • Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong supplier relationships
  • Preparing payment runs and reconciling accounts
  • Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
  • Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
  • General administration support as required

Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role is a must
  • Experience with accounting software (Xero)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Confident communicator with a professional and friendly manner
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
