About the role

  • Senior Scrum Master facilitating Agile practices and coaching teams in UK offices. Responsible for driving Agile transformations and fostering collaboration within diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a servant leader and facilitator for Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles, values, and practices.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to foster effective collaboration, communication, and decision-making.
  • Coach and mentor teams, product owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, frameworks, and practices.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting experimentation, learning, and adaptability.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration and communication between Agile teams and stakeholders, including business leaders, product owners, and external partners.
  • Play a key role in driving the organisation's Agile transformation journey.
  • Empower teams to make decisions, self-organise, and take ownership of their work.
  • Define and track Agile metrics to measure team performance, predictability, and process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent).
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certifications (PMI-ACP, SAFe, etc.).
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, preferably in a software development or IT environment.
  • Deep understanding of Agile principles, frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), and Agile engineering practices (TDD, CI/CD, etc.).
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and influence teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience driving Agile transformations and successfully implementing Agile practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management tools and software development practices.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
