About the role
- Senior Scrum Master facilitating Agile practices and coaching teams in UK offices. Responsible for driving Agile transformations and fostering collaboration within diverse teams.
Responsibilities
- Act as a servant leader and facilitator for Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles, values, and practices.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to foster effective collaboration, communication, and decision-making.
- Coach and mentor teams, product owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, frameworks, and practices.
- Collaborate with teams to identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting experimentation, learning, and adaptability.
- Facilitate effective collaboration and communication between Agile teams and stakeholders, including business leaders, product owners, and external partners.
- Play a key role in driving the organisation's Agile transformation journey.
- Empower teams to make decisions, self-organise, and take ownership of their work.
- Define and track Agile metrics to measure team performance, predictability, and process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certifications (PMI-ACP, SAFe, etc.).
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, preferably in a software development or IT environment.
- Deep understanding of Agile principles, frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), and Agile engineering practices (TDD, CI/CD, etc.).
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and influence teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience driving Agile transformations and successfully implementing Agile practices.
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools and software development practices.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
