About the role

Responsibilities

• You enjoy independently planning releases for our banking solution agree21Finanzen-Accounting, manage scheduling and dependencies, and act as the interface to other units within the CI/CD framework.
• You identify improvement opportunities, conduct retrospectives, and promote a continuous improvement process.
• You serve as the central point of contact for cross-cutting topics, for escalations from Scrum Masters, for removing impediments to the delivery and release of services, and you collaborate with multiple Release Train Engineers.
• You translate regulatory frameworks into specific requirements, provide internal training, monitor compliance, address deviations with the teams, and act as the primary interface to relevant stakeholders.
• You support the adherence to and expansion of scaled agile collaboration and facilitate key events such as PI Planning.

Requirements

• You hold a degree in (business) computer science or (banking) business administration and have many years of professional experience, ideally in the banking/fintech sector, or possess an equivalent qualification.
• You have already worked as a Release Train Engineer and Scrum Master, preferably with agile certifications, and have strong methodological competence in agile project management.
• You have good knowledge of banking operations and development processes and practical experience applying agile planning methods, techniques and tools.
• You have business‑fluent German (minimum C1) and good English skills (B2).
• You have experience developing teams and a solid coaching mindset as well as excellent communication skills.
• You work independently, take responsibility, and are team‑oriented.
