About the role
- Lead ABB's Power Reliability Business Line in Italy, driving strategy, portfolio management, and market growth. Implement high-quality execution of projects and build customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Taking full leadership responsibility for the Power Reliability Business Line in Italy.
- Defining and executing the business and go‑to‑market strategy, portfolio management, business development, marketing, pricing, and execution excellence.
- Maximizing portfolio performance, strengthening market leadership, and delivering sustainable growth and profitability in the Power Generation and Hydropower markets.
- Successfully implementing the Power Reliability strategy and ensuring customer satisfaction through high‑quality execution of projects and solutions.
- Designing and successfully implementing the Power Reliability business and portfolio strategy in Italy.
- Developing, managing, and promoting the portfolio of automation, electrical, excitation, and digital solutions.
- Ensuring profitable business growth through effective go‑to‑market strategies and customer‑oriented value propositions.
- Driving excellence in execution of portfolio and business projects.
- Building and maintaining strong long‑term relationships with customers.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring KPIs and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in leadership and management roles, preferably within industrial, energy, or power generation sectors.
- Strong technical background and proven knowledge of automation and electrical products and solutions in the Hydropower and Power Generation domains.
- Demonstrated experience in business strategy development, portfolio management, and go‑to‑market execution.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop multicultural, high‑performing teams within a complex matrix organization.
- Strong customer‑focused mindset with a track record of building long‑term customer relationships (internal and external).
- Fluency in Italian and excellent written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of ABB products, services, processes, and industry standards is considered a strong advantage.
