About the role

  • Project Manager overseeing end-to-end software development projects in a Hamburg-based digital health agency. Engaging with clients and teams to ensure projects remain on course amidst challenges.

Responsibilities

  • You manage our software development projects end-to-end — from planning through budget responsibility and controlling to reporting with our clients and internal teams
  • You keep an eye on capacity, timings and dependencies across multiple projects and proactively steer when challenges arise
  • You identify early where project flow, processes or collaboration are breaking down and independently propose solutions
  • You continuously work to improve our project processes, e.g., for data-driven estimations, better forecasting or sustainable structures
  • You communicate regularly with clients and internal teams about project progress and plan and facilitate alignment meetings and client workshops

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in project management for digital products — ideally on the agency or service provider side
  • Confident application of traditional and agile project management methods and the ability to choose the right approach to pragmatically support our software development teams
  • Solid knowledge of project controlling, budget management, forecasting and capacity planning
  • Experience in the regulated medical device environment is a plus (MDR, ISO 13485 / IEC 62304)
  • A good sense for where processes fail and the experience to independently steer corrective actions
  • Strong communication skills at multiple levels: able to represent decisions, reconcile perspectives and communicate effectively with developers as well as clients
  • A structured, analytical mindset — able to maintain an overview when several projects run concurrently
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Office or similar
  • Fluent German and English
  • Ideally based in Hamburg or the surrounding area, as on-site client workshops are a regular part of the role

Benefits

  • Varied responsibilities through diverse, meaningful projects
  • Modern work environment with 100% remote option within Germany
  • Flexible working hours based on trust and flat hierarchies
  • 30 days vacation
  • Company pension plan and private supplementary health insurance
  • Dog-friendly office in the heart of Hamburg
  • Fresh fruit, muesli bar, free beverages — plus PlayStation & foosball
  • Bike leasing and Deutschlandticket if you regularly work from the office
  • Regular team events, summer parties and Christmas celebrations
