About the role
- Procurement Manager managing indirect spend strategies and supplier relationships for Sonova. Responsible for cost-effective procurement aligned with company goals across North America in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Develop and adapt procurement strategies based on market trends and indirect spend categories.
- Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate favorable contracts and terms.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor procurement performance metrics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement with departmental and business goals.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external legal standards.
- Lead end-to-end procurement projects and resolve process challenges.
- Communicate procurement plans and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, marketing field background, highly preferred.
- Minimum 5 year procurement experience with at least 3 years in Indirect Procurement.
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in procurement tools (P2P, SAP, Ariba) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communicator and team player with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments; international experience is a plus
- A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
