About the role

  • Analista Financeiro supporting commercial areas and budget management at SOMOS Educação. Analyzing data and collaborating with business teams for strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare management reports comparing actual vs. budgeted results, supporting performance analysis and the preparation of forecasts.
  • Perform revenue analysis and assess schools' eligibility for commercial incentives.
  • Interpret contracts to identify commercial incentives in internal systems.
  • Present analyses and results in monthly meetings with commercial teams and business intelligence teams.
  • Highlight key budget variances to support area decision-making.
  • Monitor the expense process daily, identifying variances, root causes and potential corrective actions.
  • Prepare explanations for budget variances and forecasts.
  • Serve as a support resource and knowledge multiplier on cost management for partner areas.
  • Support the organization of processes and internal controls for the area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering or related fields
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros)
  • Experience or knowledge in: actual vs. budget analysis, budget control and monitoring, revenue analysis, and familiarity with cost centers and chart of accounts
  • Ability to create PowerPoint presentations
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Proactive with a strong sense of prioritization
  • Ease in building relationships with business teams
  • Differentials:
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Experience with CRM
  • Experience with data modeling or building dashboards
