About the role

  • Product Manager defining product vision and roadmap for energy solutions at Solarize. Collaborating with teams to develop and launch successful products using innovative Meter-to-Cash software.

Responsibilities

  • As a Product Manager, you ensure we build not just features but real solutions for the energy transition.
  • You actively shape our product vision: you develop, prioritize, and maintain the product roadmap.
  • You make data-driven decisions that ensure we always focus on the topics that deliver the greatest business value.
  • You create clarity and focus: you translate complex user and business requirements into precise specifications.
  • By doing so, you lay the foundation for our engineering team to develop efficiently and with clear purpose.
  • You become an expert on user needs: through in-depth analysis of customer feedback and market trends, you identify users' pains and gains.
  • You derive actions that continuously improve our product and elevate the customer experience.
  • You act as a central interface: you work closely and cross-functionally with Engineering, Project Management, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • You bring all stakeholders together and ensure that features are not only developed but successfully launched and adopted.
  • You connect our ecosystem: you manage the integration of complex third-party systems and ensure seamless processes.

Requirements

  • Experience and drive: You bring proven experience as a Product Manager (or in a comparable role) and are eager to take responsibility for a product's success.
  • Analytical sharpness: You enjoy dissecting complex requirements. With strong analytical skills, you translate abstract business needs into clear, actionable features for our development team.
  • Strong communication and empathy: You are an effective communicator and know how to bring different stakeholders on board. You confidently moderate between technical and commercial perspectives.
  • Strategic foresight: You don't get lost in the details but think strategically. You have a 'big picture' perspective to actively and purposefully steer our product vision and roadmap.
  • Confident with tools: You know your craft inside out — you are comfortable using product management tools like Jira and Miro.
  • Excellent German skills: You communicate fluently in German (C2) both written and spoken.
  • Technical understanding of integrations: You have experience managing system integrations, ideally in the context of ERP systems (e.g., DATEV or SAP). (Nice-to-haves)
  • Industry knowledge: A basic understanding of the energy or real estate industry helps you better understand our customers. (Nice-to-haves)
  • Good English skills: As we operate in a modern tech environment, you are also comfortable communicating in English. (Nice-to-haves)

Benefits

  • Steep learning curve: Work directly with an experienced founding and product team to grow quickly and sustainably.
  • Scope for impact: Bring your own ideas and help build the structures for our future success.
  • Training budget: We invest in you with an annual budget for your personal and professional development.
  • Passion & team spirit: Join a passionate team that is committed to its mission and celebrates successes together.
  • Regular team events: Strengthen team cohesion at events in Berlin, Stuttgart, and other locations.
  • Flexibility: Work remotely from anywhere in Germany or hybrid from our offices in Stuttgart or Berlin.
  • Top benefits: Enjoy attractive subsidies for Urban Sports Club, Job Bike, and public transport.
