About the role
- Planning Manager leading the planning team and managing end-to-end supply chain and production planning activities at IFF. Ensuring alignment between demand and supply capabilities in a global organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the supply and production planning team, ensuring effective execution and continuous improvement, providing also the weekly planning for each department
- Own the demand planning and forecasting process, collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial functions
- Translate demand forecasts into feasible supply, production, and inventory plans
- Drive and coordinate the S&OP process to ensure cross-functional alignment
- Monitor and improve key KPIs such as forecast accuracy, service level, inventory turns, and capacity utilization
- Identify risks and opportunities related to demand variability and supply constraints and define mitigation actions
Requirements
- Strong experience (5 years) in production planning, demand planning, and forecasting
- Proven people management and leadership experience
- Solid analytical skills and ability to manage complex planning scenarios
- Experience with ERP and planning systems; knowledge of Zucchetti AdHoc is a strong plus
- Preferably coming from the food industry or other fast-moving manufacturing environments with several constraints
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- English language - fluent
