About the role

  • Business Development Manager at SOCOMAB specializing in refrigerated showcases. Responsible for client portfolio development and negotiation of contracts in the retail sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of clients in the large retail and local convenience store sectors.
  • Identify new business opportunities and propose appropriate development strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and oversee sales through to delivery and installation of refrigerated display cases.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any technical or logistical issues.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote SOCOMAB's products and services.

Requirements

  • Experience in telephone and field prospecting required
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in business development or a similar role
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong results orientation
  • Proficiency with computer tools and customer relationship management (CRM) software
