About the role
- Product Manager responsible for developing private liquidity solutions in Fidelity's equity management platform. Joining Fidelity Labs to innovate in fundraising and exit management technologies.
Responsibilities
- Synthesize product feedback, market trends, and research into clear product requirements
- Research regulations, best practices, and other subject matter to inform product requirements and definition
- Define features and create product specification documentation
- Consult with technical team to assess feasibility, clarify use cases, and guide development of features and enhancements
- Draft or review product content for accuracy and comprehension
- Conduct product acceptance testing and validation
- Communicate release information to sales, marketing & support teams
Requirements
- Background in equity management, corporate law, venture capital, accounting, or related field
- Strong knowledge of private market infrastructure, including venture capital, secondary trading, alternative investments and liquidity solutions
- Familiarity with startup and private company ecosystem
- 5+ years of work experience within financial services, fintech or capital markets
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong communication and ability to make complex concepts accessible
- Motivation to work collaboratively to drive product initiatives from idea to market
- Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities
- High degree of self-motivation and natural curiosity to learn new things
