About the role

  • Sales Manager responsible for acquiring clients in the hydrogen sector at a diverse energy solutions company. Engaging in market analysis, presentations, and client advisory on Power-to-Gas solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Customer acquisition: You are responsible for acquiring new customers in the hydrogen sector (electrolyser manufacturers, project developers, end customers) and for generating revenue within your client network
  • Representation: You present SMA Altenso at trade shows and conferences
  • Market analysis: Evaluating market studies on the development of the hydrogen market and deriving sales strategies are part of your responsibilities
  • Advisory: You advise customers and investors on Power-to-Gas solutions
  • Product management: Together with the team, you support SMA’s product management on technical product requirements and actively contribute customer feedback and market requirements

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience
  • Experience in the hydrogen sector
  • Experience in developing hydrogen projects
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Energy Management, or Renewable Energies
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English and technical understanding of Power-to-Gas applications
  • Sales-oriented mindset and excellent presentation skills
