About the role

  • Account Manager for Partner Development managing partner network in the photovoltaic industry. Collaborating and implementing sales strategies for sustainable growth in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Partner management: You grow our partner network and identify potential installation companies for sustainable growth.
  • Sales planning & execution: You develop new customer segments, plan sales activities and implement them together with the team.
  • Technical consulting & training: You conduct trainings for installation companies — online and on-site — and develop practical, hands-on learning formats.
  • Network & association work: You maintain relationships with industry associations, initiate joint programs and develop multiplier networks within the trades.
  • Market input & representation: You contribute ideas for the further development of our products and represent SMA at trade shows and events.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering with further qualification, or a degree in electrical engineering/business administration with a technical additional qualification — ideally with photovoltaic (PV) experience.
  • Sales-oriented personality: You demonstrate strong closing skills, technical expertise, commitment and the ability to provide technical consulting.
  • PV know-how: Experience in planning or selling photovoltaic or comparable technical solutions.
  • Communication & flexibility: You communicate confidently in German and English and adapt flexibly to different interlocutors.
  • Willingness to travel: You are prepared to travel extensively.
