About the role

  • HSE Associate Manager responsible for health and safety systems and compliance at Flutter's SEA group in Italy. Overseeing risk assessments and training activities to ensure safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and update the HSE management system in accordance with national and international regulations
  • Monitor compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Carry out HSE Risk Assessments (DVR) and define prevention and protection measures to minimize accidents and injuries
  • Manage, coordinate and deliver staff training activities on HSE aspect
  • Conduct internal HSE assessments and support inspections by competent authorities
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, defining corrective and preventive actions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental compliance
  • Monitor and analyze the company's HSE performance and prepare regular reports for management
  • Develop and implement environmental management initiatives aligned with ISO 14001
  • Support sustainability and environmental impact reduction project in collaboration with business and facilities team
  • Support continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing environmental impact and improving safety conditions
  • Assume the role of RSPP for the legal entities of the FLUTTER SEA group in Italy

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience in a similar role in the HSE sector
  • Degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Prevention Techniques or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of national and international regulations relating to Health, Safety and Environment (D. Lgs. 81/2008, D. Lgs. 152/2006, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001)
  • Solid knowledge of health, safety & environmental compliance and sustainability practices within corporate environments
  • Experience in managing HSE inspections and relations with the competent authorities
  • Proficient in English and Italian, both spoken and written
  • Strong results and problem-solving orientation
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments and manage complex situations
  • Proactive and continuous improvement-oriented approach
  • Available for national and international travel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and organizational skills
  • Team player promoting corporate culture oriented towards safety and sustainability
  • B driving license
  • Preferably specific HSE certifications (RSPP, Lead Auditor ISO 14001/45001, trainer for A.S.R. 2011)
  • Previous experience in the retail and/or logistics/manufacturing sector
  • Knowledge of management software for safety and risk management (knowledge of the “Zucchetti Safety” platform is a plus)
  • Basic Knowledge of Lean methodology
