About the role

• Senior .NET Developer responsible for developing and enhancing software applications for the financial sector. Collaborating with internal teams and managing critical processes for production apps in Brazil.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for operations applications in Brazil and contribute improvements and fixes to enhance user experience, support efficiency, and processing;
• Capture knowledge and requirements for technology initiatives focused on business needs;
• Reduce technology complexity and improve data quality;
• Develop new products using local and global platforms;
• Improve automation to enable a more streamlined processing environment;
• Assist internal teams by applying technical and business knowledge when needed;
• Propose innovative IT solutions to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and robustness, and to support an efficient, effective, robust, centralized, and scalable goal-control operating model across the bank;

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in a business-oriented IT role;
• .NET - 3 years of experience working in a production environment, including delivering and supporting a software product.
• ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC. DevExpress framework;
• Experience with other languages such as Java, Python, and Scala;
• Familiarity with relational databases (SQL, Sybase, Oracle, etc.);
• Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), BPM (Business Process Management), and BI (Business Intelligence) techniques;
• Exposure to Design Thinking, Lean methodologies, and Agile;
• Familiarity with data science techniques (machine learning);
• Knowledge of investment products (fixed income, swaps and derivatives; foreign exchange contracts);
• Be hands-on and take ownership of issues to ensure follow-up;
• Experience architecting and designing end-to-end application flows. BPMN and service blueprint design;
