Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of job responsibilities which may include delivery of fertilizer and chemical products to customers from the Unit office
- Equipment and plant maintenance work
- Fertilizer blending
- Responsible for unloading and proper storage of turf products from commercial trucks
- Loading of company Class A delivery trucks with customer orders
- Maintenance of warehouse facility to help ensure cleanliness
- Respond to customer questions on turf equipment
- Maintenance of warehouse facility to include any repairs needed on operational equipment and troubleshooting
- Analyze returned equipment and recommend corrective procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Combination of education, training and/or experience will be considered for this position.
- Two plus years related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of the local geography is preferred to assist in locating farms and fields
- Valid Driver's License
- Forklift experience is required
- Must be able to maintain maintenance records for equipment
- Must be able to take on dispatching duties when necessary
- Must be able to lift 50lbs multiple times throughout the day
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
