Business Development Lead managing revenue growth for IT Managed Services at Siepe. Working with investment managers to deliver software and data solutions for better decision-making.
Responsibilities
Originate from and prospect into 6,000+ registered SEC investment managers.
Manage sales cycle for inbound and outbound prospects.
Provide input, create execution strategies, into product enhancements and their impact on the sales cycle and their deployment throughout the service desk, infrastructure and relationship management teams.
Create and participate with IT community forums for investment managers via thought leadership, marketing campaigns, webinars, investment conferences, etc.
Work closely with other Siepe divisions to provide a unified message about our products and services.
Some travel to local client offices may be required.
Requirements
3+ years of sales and/or sales engineering experience.
Preferred exposure selling into investment managers in the hedge fund, private equity, family office and endowment space.
IT managed service experience preferred.
Understanding of network environments, cybersecurity, IT help desk, and cloud computing infrastructure.
Willingness to learn something new.
Over-the-top client service capabilities and desire to please clients.
Positive, confident and determined approach.
High degree of self-motivation and ambition.
Skills to work both independently and as part of a team.
Must have current and ongoing authorization to work in the country of employment without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
