Responsibilities
Daily sales calls on existing customers, with emphasis on the sale of soft surface flooring products, samples, displays, adhesive, and related floor products
Present products to retail dealers, designers, and end-users
Analyze all leads provided by corporate reports
Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more regularly
Continually prospect for viable new accounts and develop awareness of market conditions
Prepare reports of business transactions and sales volume
Communicate periodic sales reports outlining actual sales and goals, competitive market conditions, and product needs
Analyze sales statistics to assist dealers in promoting sales
Manage travel expenditures and sample budget
Enter all customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com
Responsible for selling and promoting all residential products, including Shaw Floors, A/T, and Philly Commercial
Requirements
A High School Diploma/GED required
Previous sales experience required
Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectable manner
Ability to use a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office
Physically able to assemble and take down display fixtures
Territory Managers must travel in a vehicle that can carry a number of product sample boards, requiring a van or an approved SUV
Ability to lift more than 50lbs on a regular basis
