Senior Solutions Architect developing Data Center and Hybrid Cloud solutions. Collaborating with clients and working in a pre-sales capacity to drive technological innovation.
Responsibilities
Analyze business and IT requirements and develop Data Center and Hybrid Cloud concepts to sustainably address our customers’ business and IT needs.
Lead the technical solution development for complex proposals and solution concepts during the pre-sales phase and support the development of win strategies.
Position and present our Data Center & Hybrid Cloud service portfolio and provide technology thought leadership to decision-makers, and conduct solution and strategy workshops.
Develop and implement go-to-market strategies and initiatives for targeted market development.
Support sales in acquisition efforts, RFP responses, quoting, and closing for Data Center solutions.
Requirements
Technical or business degree or equivalent qualification, with extensive project and consulting experience in similar roles and at least 5–7 years of relevant professional experience.
Extensive pre-sales experience in complex, cross-functional projects with leading Data Center technology vendors (in particular Dell, Cisco, Pure Storage, NetApp and Rubrik).
Familiarity with the latest IT technologies and trends, including market and competitor knowledge—especially with regard to AI-ready infrastructures for on‑premises AI workloads.
Extensive experience with leading virtualization and container solutions.
Ability to identify and understand complex business and IT requirements, derive solution approaches from them, and demonstrate their business value.
Resilient, well-structured and independent working style; team player.
Strong customer focus and communication skills, demonstrating innovation, confident presence, and willingness to take responsibility.
Hands-on mentality combined with a sales affinity.
Fluent German and English language skills.
