About the role

  • IaaS Technical Sales Executive converting inbound leads into customers for ServerMania. Assessing requirements, recommending solutions, and conducting sales presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Convert inbound leads into ServerMania customers through consultative, technically informed sales.
  • Assess customer requirements, recommend appropriate server and infrastructure solutions, prepare quotes, negotiate contracts, and guide new clients through onboarding.
  • Live Chat and Phone coverage during working hours.
  • Triage all sales leads.
  • Conduct free consultations, presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Onboard your customers and seek 5-star reviews.
  • Engage with customers over MS Teams, Slack, WhatsApp, Telegram or any other channel as needed to facilitate sales communication.
  • Manage and grow your own customer account portfolio, transfer accounts to the Account Management team as needed to maintain a focus on customer acquisition.
  • Provide Account Managers a list of accounts to graduate from your portfolio for dedicated account management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in B2B sales preferably in hosting, cloud services, IaaS , SaaS, or IT infrastructure.
  • Strong IT Background — preferably in Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), dedicated servers, cloud hosting, or related technical fields.
  • Excellent English Communication Skills — clear, professional written and spoken English is essential.
  • Formal Sales Training — familiarity with Consultative Selling, Gap Selling, or similar modern sales methodologies.
  • Technical Understanding of Server Hardware, including: Differences between SSD, NVMe, SATA, enterprise drives, What RAID arrays are and why they’re used, RAM functions and performance considerations, CPU, motherboard, sockets/chipsets, and how components interact, Basic networking principles (IP addresses, subnets, bandwidth, latency)
  • Ability to Provide Technical Guidance — explain complex hosting concepts to customers in a simple, solution-oriented way.
  • Experience in B2B or technical sales is strongly preferred.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple inbound channels (chat, phone, email, messaging apps).
  • CRM Experience — ideally ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools.
