About the role

  • Assistente Jurídico(a) supporting legal activities at a full-service firm. Involves preparation of legal documents and support to lawyers in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting answers, statements and other procedural pleadings under supervision;
  • Drafting petitions and filings in general;
  • Case/proceeding analysis;
  • Preparation, updating and management of case tracking spreadsheets;
  • Organization and management of physical and digital documents;
  • Monitoring court deadlines and supporting the litigation workflow;
  • Supporting attorneys with the department’s administrative and legal tasks.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Law degree (in progress)
  • Strong legal writing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Office suite)
  • Organized, detail-oriented and effective at managing deadlines
  • Previous experience in a law firm or legal department
  • Familiarity with legal case management and electronic filing systems
  • Knowledge of Procedural Law (preferably Civil and/or Banking law)
  • Ability to analyze procedural/case data
