About the role

  • Key Account Manager addressing safety glass market, managing client relationships, and driving sales strategies. Building long-term partnerships while executing market analysis and product presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Identification and outreach to potential new customers in the safety glass segment
  • Establishment, maintenance and expansion of long-term customer relationships
  • Preparation of offers, cost calculations and conduct of contract negotiations
  • Technical consultation on the properties and benefits of safety glass products
  • Development and implementation of sales strategies to open up new market segments
  • Support and advisory services for existing customers to realize cross-selling potentials
  • Continuous analysis of market and competitor developments
  • Conducting professional product presentations and trainings
  • Coordination of customer projects
  • Representation of the company at trade fairs, professional events and industry functions
  • Maintenance and expansion of the professional network in the safety glass industry

Requirements

  • Completed training in a commercial, technical or trade-related field
  • Several years of sales experience, ideally in the technical or industrial sector
  • Experience in managing key accounts and acquiring new customers
  • Knowledge of project management
  • Solid knowledge in the area of safety glass or a related product area desirable
  • Technical understanding
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
  • Team player with high social competence
