About the role

  • Key Account Manager at SEMCO responsible for developing customer relations in security glass segments. Engaging in strategic sales initiatives and ensuring exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

  • Identification and outreach to potential new customers in the security glass segment
  • Establishment, maintenance and expansion of long-term customer relationships
  • Preparation of quotations, cost calculations and conducting contract negotiations
  • Technical consulting on the properties and benefits of security glass products
  • Development and implementation of sales strategies to open up new market segments
  • Support and advising of existing customers to realize cross-selling potentials
  • Continuous analysis of market and competitor developments
  • Conducting expert product presentations and training
  • Coordination of customer projects
  • Representing the company at trade fairs, professional events and industry conferences
  • Maintenance and expansion of the professional network in the security glass industry

Requirements

  • Completed training in commercial, technical or skilled trades
  • Several years of experience in sales, ideally in the technical or industrial sector
  • Experience managing key accounts and acquiring new customers
  • Knowledge of project management
  • Solid knowledge in the field of security glass or a related product area is desirable
  • Technical understanding
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
  • Team player with high social competence
