About the role
- As a Solution Architect (m/f/d) you design and oversee the implementation of technical solutions that meet both our business requirements and our customers’ needs, bridging the gap between business and technology:
- You develop a clear technical vision and architecture and ensure that all solutions align with strategy, standards and best practices.
- You integrate systems and applications into a cohesive overall solution and actively shape future portfolio elements and services.
- You work closely with the business, development teams, operations, partners and customers — from concept through rollout.
- You select appropriate technologies and platforms, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure scalability, security and maintainability.
- You identify technical risks early and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- You contribute new ideas, monitor technology trends and establish best practices.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in software development, system integration or IT architecture.
- A degree in computer science, engineering or a related field is desirable.
- Solid knowledge of IT architectures, microservices, cloud-native technologies, databases and integration patterns.
- Experience with patterns & anti-patterns, private and public cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), DevOps practices and requirements engineering.
- Project management skills and a good commercial/business understanding.
- Analytical skills, problem-solving ability and strong communication — you can present complex topics clearly.
- Very good German and English language skills.
