About the role

  • Business Development Manager responsible for generating new business and managing sales cycle at Evolved-Ideas, a UK software development partner.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business by sourcing and closing high-potential clients through proactive outbound outreach and ecosystem networking
  • Lead discovery and qualification calls, identifying client challenges and positioning Evolved-Ideas as a strategic delivery partner
  • Own the full sales cycle, including self-sourcing, inbound lead management, negotiation, and closing
  • Collaborate with SLT to develop tailored, client-specific proposals
  • Leverage modern sales and automation tools (e.g. Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo) to scale outreach and improve efficiency
  • Support a seamless post-close handover to relevant team and nurture new accounts to ensure long-term success

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B software and tech sales with a strong outbound focus (IT services or recruitment sales preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Track record of closing deals and generating revenue
  • Strong understanding of the UK tech ecosystem and experience selling to CTOs and senior technology leaders
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools such as Hubspot, Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Curiosity around AI, automation, and modern sales workflows
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable operating in a high-ownership and growth environment
