Business Development Manager responsible for developing projects and customer relationships in AMD x86 Solutions. Working with teams across EMEA and supporting sales strategies at Avnet.
Responsibilities
Drive assigned customers and develop new projects
Suppliers interactions to get up-to-date inputs on market trend and new products
Market trend update in cooperation with the SBMs for AMD and Embedded
Communication of the product/supplier strategy to Sales, customers and suppliers including benchmarking
Close alignment with Avnet Silica's Regional Sales and FAE teams to increase the deployment of AMD x86 Solutions across EMEA, Technologies and Markets Team, Solutions and Software Team, Embedded Solutions Team
Build and position best offer to customer considering Avnet capabilities and objectives
Set Goals & Objectives on project level to follow the progress and measure the positive KPIs
Define Target Customer List for the region of responsibility in alignment with the Regional Sales and Application Management
Monthly reporting summary in SFDC
Re-enforcing link with customer at both purchasing and R&D levels by building trust
Support European promotional programs by creating and maintaining promotion tools (presentations, website, technical articles)
Leverage cross supplier portfolio knowledge to offer solutions and create additional value to Avnet’s proposal
Requirements
5y+ experience in x86 and Embedded Board Applications
3y+ experience inside that Embedded Market
3y+ in Sales Support activities
Basic understanding of AI tool flow is an advantage but not mandatory
Very good English and German language experience, other language experience are of advantage
Deep knowledge in Microsoft Tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Willingness to travel
Driving license
