Field Service Technician repairing and testing electromechanical components at Sécheron. Engage with client requirements in electrical safety solutions and travel to customer sites in the USA or Canada.
Responsibilities
Repair and overhaul of electromechanical components according to internal instructions.
Mechanical and electrical testing of these components.
Incoming inspection/analysis of defective/worn components.
Create service and routine test reports in English.
Organize spare part deliveries and manage our stock of spare parts.
Coordination with our customer support engineering and sales teams.
Visit the customer sites in the USA or Canada when required.
Organization (calibration) of our measuring equipment according to internal quality standards.
Practical and theoretical training of our customers.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a repair technician with mechanical and/or electrical knowledge
Good computer skills in the use of MS Office
Knowledge of railway technology is an advantage
Ability to work in a team
Willingness to learn
Availability to travel around 20-30% of the time.
Ability to work independently and on one's own responsibility
Interest and ability to understand DC & AC power systems and corresponding product needs.
Driving license
Excellent English
Any other languages are a plus.
