On-Call Event Server at Seabrook Hospitality's Events team. Delivering exceptional service during various events and gatherings in Pacific Beach, WA.
Responsibilities
Assist in the setup, execution, and breakdown of catering events, including but not limited to weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
Serve food and beverages to guests with professionalism and attention to detail, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, addressing any inquiries or special requests promptly and professionally.
Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure seamless event execution and guest satisfaction.
Maintain compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including holding a valid Washington State Food Handler Card.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic beverages to guests during banquet events, following recipes and proper pouring techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the side station area, including stocking and replenishing supplies as needed.
Clear tables and clean banquet room after events, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored.
Communicate effectively with the Events team and other staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Assist with bar setup and breakdown before and after events.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following sanitation and safety guidelines.
Protects the organization, members and guests by adhering to all safety, sanitation, food preparation, food storage and alcohol beverage control policies, including Washington State Health and Liquor Department regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work and educational experience.
Proven experience as a Banquet Server or similar role in a banquet or high-volume kitchen setting.
WA Food Workers Card required.
All candidates must pass a background check prior to employment.
