About the role

  • Laboratory Manager overseeing a team for physico-chemical analyses in agronomy. Leading strategic transitions in a research organization specializing in oilseed and protein crop valorization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of around ten employees and support their professional development.
  • Organize and coordinate laboratory activities with the support of the analyses coordinator.
  • Manage resources, priorities and the budget.
  • Lead the project to relocate and set up the new laboratory in Bordeaux.
  • Supervise quality management in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
  • Unite the team around an inspiring collective project and support change management.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (engineer or master level) with significant experience in physico‑chemical analyses and in management, ideally gained in agronomy or the food industry.
  • Strong expertise in physico‑chemical analyses and laboratory management.
  • Proficiency with information systems and statistical tools.
  • Knowledge of the ISO/IEC 17025 framework and analytical standards.
  • Ideally, familiarity with the agricultural sector and research environments.
  • Fluent in French and English.
