About the role
- Inventory Control Specialist responsible for managing warehouse inventory and material allocation for Schweid & Sons. Overseeing inventory operations to ensure accurate tracking and timely distribution to meet production demands.
Responsibilities
- Manage store, track, and distribute inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to support production requirements.
- Conduct daily cycle counts and regular physical inventories; reconcile and resolve discrepancies.
- Allocate materials to production based on schedules and requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, and shipments.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or related role.
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles.
- Experience with inventory management systems and data analysis tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Degree or coursework in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field preferred.
